Boys Only Sewing (10+)

Description

For BOY students 10+ and adults. (Younger students by invitation only.) Projects may include costumes, clothing, accessories, and more.

I will have a monthly project that may be completed OR students may choose their own project.

IF choosing their own project, students should know what they want to make before they come to class. I have many patterns for students to use BUT need to know ahead of time so I can make sure I have the pattern ready. I do offer the option to purchase materials for the project. Price will vary dependent on project.

Classes are 1.5 hours long and meet for 4 weeks.

Tuesdays 6:30-8:00

What to bring to class:

Pattern, materials, fabric for project
Sewing Machine (with power cord, foot pedal, presser foot, bobbins & needles)
Thread
Hand Sewing Needles
Pins or Clips
Chalk or Fabric Marking Pen (light blue or silver is recommended)
Seam Ripper
Ruler or Measuring Tape
Fabric Scissors

Monthly Projects:

August: Cinch or Drawstring Backpack with pockets
September: Water Bottle Carrier
October: Hooded Cape or Robe
November: Gear Bag
December: Holiday or Winter Plush (think snowballs)

Sewing Machines are available for rent here.

Materials are available for purchase. Please contact me to arrange materials before the beginning of class. Materials fee varies by project.
